My 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2017

It’s been an awesome year for me and my makeup journey. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve gotten my hands on a lot of great products this year, so I wanted to take some time to tell you my 10 favorite products from 2017!

1. The Balm Cosmetics High Light N Con Tour Palette

The Balm Cosmetics High Light N Con Tour palette

This is a palette I wrote about extensively here, but I’ll summarize for you: this face palette has all I need for making myself flawless. It’s been my go-to blush and bronzer product ever since getting it earlier this year. I can’t put it down. It’s just so nice to have everything I need in one palette with a huge mirror built in. This goes with me on every trip and I use it for almost every look. Hands down one of my best purchases of the year.

2. Kiss Press On Nails

Kiss Press On Nails

I am absolutely enamored with Kiss’s Press On nails lines. I have always loved the idea of having long, glamorous nails, but growing them out is difficult for me because I tend to bite my nails when stressed AND I like to play ukulele and sew from time to time, making permanent lomg nails impractical. Kiss’s Press On nails allow me to indulge in long nails without more than a week or so of commitment. Their nails and glues are excellent quality for the price and anyone can use them at any level.

3. Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigments

Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigments

By now I know you know I love Naked Cosmetics, so of course they had to make this list. Naked’s mica pigments are such a huge part of my daily makeup regimen that it’s hard to imagine my beauty routine without them. These high quality pigments have changed the game for me and well worth every penny spent on them.

4. Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paints

Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Lip Paints

Back at the beginning of 2017 I received a Tarteist Lip Paint from Ipsy and it changed my life. I know own over a dozen different Lip Paints from Tarte because I love the formula and the shades. I’m hooked on them and don’t see myself stopping this addiction any time soon.

5. eva•nyc Dry Shampoo and Texture Spray

eva•nyc Surf’s Up Texture Spray

These are two more products I can’t imagine living without. Without a doubt they’ve helped me step my hair game up. I received them for free from eva•nyc initially, but have since purchased them over and over again because they’re are that good. These are my tried and true hair sprays and I love them.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette

Okay, now, I’m fully aware that this was a controversial product for a lot of people, but going off of my own experiences, I love this palette. I have used it extensively becsuse I like it so much. The formula is a bit powdery and I do recommend being careful with it, but the pigmentation and color payoff is phenomenal. I honestly love it and have never regretted getting it.

7. Dr. Teal’s

Dr. Teals Foaming Bath

Dr. Teal’s has become my go-to bathtime accessory. This all started when my partner grabbed some as a surprise one day earlier this year and now I should probably just purchase stock in Dr. Teal’s because I’m so obsessed with their products. For me, it’s not self-care bubble bath time without one if their bubble baths or bath salts.

8. Black Orchid

Black Orchid Beauty Pumpkin Spice Oil And Scrub

I absolutely adore my Black Orchid oils and scrubs. I own several of their products and keep coming back for more because I trust this indie brand’s work so much. If you’re looking to support an independent, black owned business, I highly recommend Black Orchid. Absolutely incredible products and company.

9. No7’s Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil

No7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil

I’m absolutely obsessed with my facial oil from No7. I use this for so much more than just a facial oil. While it is of course perfect for hydrating my skin, I also use it in my brow pomades and my gel liners so they glide on extra smooth and clean. I can’t speak highly enough of the formula and how it makes my skin feel.

10. Sally Hansen Nail Polishes

Sally Hansen Nail Polishes

A nail polish brand I have come to trust explicitly is Sally Hansen. I adore their Miracle Gel line, especially the Miracle Gel Top Coat. The looks I do with my nails almost always start our with a Miracle Gel base and ALWAYS end with a thick coat of the Miracle Gel Top Coat. These are officially my ride or die nail polishes.

And those are my 10 favorite beauty products I purchased in 2017! I stand by these products 100% and will continue purchasing them in 2018! Did you see any on this list you recognize? What have your experiences been? Let me know down below!
